- When I was little my mom got her hair professionally styled at the salon every.single.Friday! Her hair looked like the women on Mad Men,the television show, and she slept with a special silk pillow so it lasted all week!!
- Mayonnaise is my favorite condiment
- I don’t like to celebrate ? because I enjoy celebrating! So, I just couldn’t think of anything that I don’t enjoy celebrating?? Scratching my head on this one!
- My camera takes up more space in my purse than I like and I can never bring both my lenses!

I gave up on taking my ‘real’ camera anywhere. Now I just use my phone!
I hadn’t thought about that one – my camera is always in my purse, too, and it takes up quite a bit of space! I can’t imagine my hair style lasting all week. It’s too hot and muggy in South Florida for that to be possible.

I just use my cell phone too. but it’s not smart, so I don’t have instgram.
I remember the sitter I had during childhood having the hairdresser come each week to do her hair. we were fascinated. no wonder we all wanted those doll heads for Christmas!
I just carry my camera and lenses now and hope like hell I don’t need anything out of a purse. LOL YAY for mayonnaise!!! WootWoot! My mom used to wear her hair the exact same all the time and she used to get it ‘frosted’- crazy.
My mother used to go to the hair salon too and looked just like the women in Mad Men.
Isn’t it amazing how much our hair has changed over the years…. My mom never was one of those once a week/ styling ladies and still isn’t. Her sister, on the other hand, the complete opposite!
My camera takes up too much space in my purse too, but I hate to be without it sometimes.
My neighbor who is 86 still gets her hair set every Friday and sleeps a certain way on her side so she doesn’t mess up her hair. It’s so funny to me. My hubby’s grandma goes every Saturday!!! I finally got a camera bag… but now I’m lugging two bags with me where ever I go. I need a better system!!!

1. when I was little my mom would steam Chinese meatballs, stick em on a chopstick, and we’d them on the stoop on a warm summer evening. Best.
