Riddle me this! On Friday I join the fun of Four Fill In Fun with Feeling Beachie. Her partner in crime this week, Daughter in Law Diaries!
This week’s statements:
1. when I was little I was called ___
2. ___are my favorite candy
3. If I could have one magical power it would be______
4. If I could go back to school it would be to become a _________
My Answers……….
1. when I was little I was called my name, yeah, no nickname or cute pet name!
2. You would think this was easy. Nope! But, I will go with Three Musketeer are my favorite candy. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, comes darn close and Dove Dark Chocolates, oh and a PayDay. See, the problem? I asked my husband and he said, “Lucy, you are a pain in the_____ (you feel in the blank) when grabbing you candy” but he named all of those above. I don’t think I am a pain. You can’t go WRONG with ANY OF THOSE. Now, how lucky, that is quite a choice of making me happy ![]()
3. If I could have one magical power it would be invisible! (so sad that this was easier than the candy fill in but if you know me,it makes perfect sense LOL)
4. If I could go back to school it would be to become a better writer. Guess, I should explain. I am lucky to have succeeded at going to school and getting my Masters in Education. I have no desire to be anything else. I enjoyed teaching, so I would just take creative writing classes , you know, fun learning classes now
.
Join the fun and Fill in the Blanks!!

Reading all your candy answers is making me so hungry!!
My daughter loves herself a Three Musketeers. I’m all about chocolate and caramel together so anything with those is MINE!
Oh the things we’d hear if we were invisible, huh?
Oh….Three Musketeers…yes, throw one of those into my candy bowl. So so good. like biting into a fluffy cloud of chocolatey goodness.
I got my BA in English Literature, but we did more Reading, than actual Writing; so I think I’d have to agree taking a Creative Writing course would be great.
great answers and you rock for being a teacher in my book teachers are the ultimate rock stars. For me i would love to go back to school just to go i love learning and i love school
Come Say HI
fun post. Our oldest grandson always talks about how he would do things if he was invisible xo
I had no nickname either. Lisa is pretty easy to say
1. When I was little I was called fat. I know, sad. I survived though, and it really was only one kid that did it. He was a dork. Or maybe he liked me. I dunno.
2. Pretzel M&Ms, hands-down, are my favorite candy. That, or green tea kit kat, which you can only get overseas or in Asian-town, I supposed.
3. If I could have one magical power it would be to fly. I’d love to just never have to deal with traffic again. The vehicular kind, anyways.
4. If I could go back to school it would be to become a graphic designer/web designer. I love all things graphic and web. I wish I knew more coding to incorporate into my blog. Nevertheless, I love being an engineer, love my job, and wouldn’t have it any other way!
I used to love candy- any kind of candy at all! Now, not so much. If I went back to school, I’d get a second master’s degree only this time it would be in counseling.
What a good idea – to go back to school for Creative Writing. Maybe then my posts would be better organized.
I would like to take some writting classes too – help with spelling and commas… I am sooooooooo bad with both
so love reading. I remember taking a class in college on speed reading…didn’t do well, as I wanted to get in EVERY word. If I went back to school, it would be in interior decorating. I LOVE to decorate. I would have my own business…next life.
As far as eating candy…well I love SMARTIES. Keep them in my office in the pig candy dish. I keep my candy dish way over by the door, but of course need to grab a few everytime I walk by. Now that candy bars are over $1.00 in some stores…I tend to stay away from the unneeded calories.
My nickname in school was sausage. because I had the body shape of a link. my oldest daughter is blessed with the same “board straight – no curves” shape – and at this time, it has assisted her in running. curves came for me after kids…and of course stress eating.
My close group of friends call me Que. long story…goes with my given name…and is always good for a laugh.
