Halloween Sweet Sixteen Memory

by lucy on September 21, 2012

I love this photo!

Sweet Sixteen!!

My daughter and Her Grandfather!!!

She had a Halloween themed Sweet Sixteen Party!

Her  Birthday is a few days before Halloween and she loves costume parties.

Her Grandfather did his best to dress up,in his late seventies at the time of the party, he got into the spirit of things for his Granddaughter!

So there sits Cinderella with The Mask of  Zorro, who is suggesting you drink Milk!!!

In the end,we had a simple costume party at our home for her sixteenth party.

Most of our family (always some party poopers, right?) and her friends definitely got into the spirit of things :)

Of course, the Birthday girl went all out!

Beautiful Blue,Satin Gown, Gloves, glass slippers and Crown!!

We made sure she looked like Cinderella at the Ball!!!

The perfect and simple way to make the Sweet Sixteen girl the Star of the Party!!!

Simple parties at home still can be a lot of fun :)

Do you go to Costume Parties or skip them?

Ugh, I hate dressing up in costumes. Too much effort. Can’t we all relax on the couch? =) I sort of loathe that Gavin’s birthday is in late October, because at some point he will want to have costume parties. Until then, we’re skipping all themes … because I said so! hahaha.

I love getting dressed up, but aren’t invited to a lot of costume parties. My sister, on the other hand, goes to 1 at least once a month and takes it seriously. She’s hilarious with it! So creative! Love that grandpa got dressed up!!!!! Hope your daughter had a blast!

That’s the kind of sweet sixteen I could get into.
She looks adorable and I love that she’s with her grandfather who tried to get into the theme… too cute!
I posted a photo of my boys with their grandfather this week.
Great minds…..

So sweet! I chuckled out loud :) . Yes I have candy! Your daughter is beautiful. Ahhh so be young again… And have the world as your oyster…
I don’t “do” Halloween parties. I mean, I’ll come to said party and have some wine and be festive… Until you want me to dress up! Several of my friends are bah hum bugging me right now!

Your daughter looks just beautiful and I’ll bet that is a really special memory of her grandfather. very sweet!

I would totally love to go to a costume party!!! People have forgotten who to have good ole clean fun these days. Or those Mystery Parties, you know….you play a character, someone dies and you all have to find out who the killer is!!?? that would be so cool.

She looks gorgeous! I love getting all dressed up like that, and Halloween is so much fun! I always wanted to do a costume party for my birthday but with it being in December it never quite worked out.

What a fun birthday party! I have never been to a costume party, but I’d like to believe I’d get in on the fun. :)
