Let’s Talk Weather

Trying to explain.  Not really sure it is possible.  I was born and raised in the Midwest.  Some, have called my town a Cow Town.  Columbus, OH.  I loved growing up there.  Even more, I loved raising my children in that Cow Town.  The only down side.  It lacks SUN.  In Columbus, you can go DAYS and I mean DAYS without the SUN.

What I am hoping you see?  If you look very, very, close?

Is the snow!!!! That IS WHAT I LOVE about SEDONA. I know, many are shaking their head right about now,or scratching it. AND YES, ARIZONA GETS SNOW!! FLAGSTAFF,ARIZONA is a SKI town!!!  I am not a TRUE SNOW BUNNY.  SEE, I love the colder days.  I still love my sweaters, boots and WINTER COATS.  Ask my husband, he will gladly tell you how much I LOVE WINTER COATS :)

But what else do you see???

011Sun!!! Oh, and NOT A TON of snow.  It melts fast.  We had a beautiful covering over the weekend. Maybe two inches?  By Wednesday we were only left with a sprinkling, high up on the Red Rocks.  In Sedona there are no snowplows.  No mounds of snow.  No muddy, brown, old snow drifts.

In the afternoon, I am wearing nothing but a sweater (with pants lol).  Visitors, well, some of them brave it in SHORTS.  Not me, I am still in Jeans.  Ok, let me be totally honest SWEATPANTS!!! By night, my winter coat is out.

008

I get the best of both worlds in Sedona!! A little winter but not all the gook, salt and brown muddy crap! The best, A TON OF SUN!!!! Not to mention some extraordinary views :)

Do you enjoy Winter? Do you need a change in Temperature? Do you like snow or would you be happy to live without the stuff forever?

I absolutely LOVE your home in AZ.

I’m not a snow bunny, exactly. I don’t ski, or snow board or any of that jazz, but I live for blizzards and old fashioned snow storms. It’s just so beautiful.

Oh, I enjoy winter. I just don’t seem to get it anymore. I enjoy the changes of the seasons, but we seem to be stuck in a cycle of warm and hot as hell. UGH. I’m not happy with our weather right now. Not happy at all. And I did NOT know that about AZ. Snow. Go figure. LOL
